Greg L. Alford, Founding Partner of
PEACHTREE
CONSULTING GROUP, has concentrated and
extensive marketing experiences in the area of
new product and new business development. He
served as Director of New Products for
WEYERHAEUSER
COMPANY'S BUILDING PRODUCTS DIVISION from
1980-1983 and developed their industry acclaimed
FIRST CHOICESM
product diversification program that zoomed from
zero to $120 million in annual sales in less
than three years. In 1984, Mr. Alford accepted
the challenge of directing both the new product
and new business development programs for
CLOSETMAID
where he established and managed their new
product design center. Under his direction, this
center created numerous home organization
products in addition to a totally new commercial
shelving business. Mr. Alford is known for his
marketing insight, product development acumen
and vision in the broad area of new
business development. In addition to his single
client advisory work, he has directed and penned twenty-five
large scale, client sponsored marketing
studies with a diversified mix of product group
coverage that includes upscale major appliances,
kitchen cabinets,
R-T-A
furniture, bath faucets, shower systems, paints
and stains, outdoor
cooking systems, gourmet coffee carts, back up power generators,
automotive refrigerants, and a wide variety of home storage products. Mr.
Alford was graduated from
AUBURN UNIVERSITY
with a B.S. Degree in Industrial Management and
from
GEORGIA COLLEGE with an
M.B.A.
Degree.
